Conscious Pregnancy & Pre-Natal Yoga
Mothers-to-be are the mothers of our planet’s future.
Conscious Pregnancy & Pre-Natal Yoga classes and workshops create a sacred space for mothers-to-be to relax, rejuvenate, and deeply connect with their baby. One on one classes, group classes, and workshops are available to tailor breath and yoga postures for the mother-to-be to practice on her own. Gentle, slow movements in coordination with breath are used to help improve strength and flexibility, to facilitate a woman's ability to flow through the changes occurring throughout pregnancy, and to help prepare for delivery and postpartum.
There will be occasional weekend workshops for mothers-to-be and their spouses or partners to provide an overview of the changes commonly occurring in each of the trimesters, and how to prepare for labor, delivery, and post-partum. Information and practical tools will be provided for support and balance through each of the stages. These couples classes may also include guest speakers and plenty of question and answer time. Conscious Pregnancy & Pre-Natal Yoga classes and workshops are based on the science of Ayurveda and Yoga and the teachings of Yogi Bhajan.
